The Master's degree programme at H-BRS is characterised by individual supervision, guidance towards independent scientific work and interdisciplinary collaboration in research and development projects.
After successfully completing the programme, students are awarded the internationally recognised academic degree of Master of Science. This degree entitles the holder to a doctorate. The degree prepares students for specialist and management positions in industry, business, administration, research and development.

Admission requirements
A professionally qualifying university degree with a grade of 3.0 or better in a subject related to business informatics, computer science or economics. In the case of computer science and economics, it is assumed that business informatics subjects were taken in the Bachelor's degree programme. The proportion of subjects with computer science content should comprise at least 20 ETCS for a degree in economics; similarly, the proportion of subjects with economics content should also comprise at least 20 ECTS for a degree in computer science.
Admission type and application deadline
You can apply from 15 November to 15 March to start studying in the summer semester and from 15 May to 15 September to start studying in the winter semester
Language skills
Applicants with foreign educational certificates require one of the following tests as proof of the required German language skills: DSH2, TestDaF with a score of 4 in all 4 parts of the exam or telc C1 Deutsch Hochschule
