Service Point Department of Computer Science

The Service Point is staffed by student assistants who provide support for students and lecturers/teachers in the following areas:

Students

• Advising fellow students on frequently asked questions (‘where, how, what’) -
• Technical support for IT issues and problems with student accounts:
• Passwords
• Email
• VPN
• PCs in the pool rooms

Teachers and lecturers

• Operating assistance for technical equipment
• Help with technical malfunctions
• Recording of courses

Service for classrooms

• Checking the pool rooms
• Checking the boards in the seminar and pool rooms
• Checking the projectors
• Replenishing materials

The Service Point also lends out:

• Adapters
• Whiteboard markers
• Seminar rooms
• Meeting OWL
• Pin boards
