Event Management

H-BRS Event Management is entrusted with the planning, organisation and implementation of the central university events and projects of the President's Office with high publicity and marketing impact.

At the central welcome event for first-semester students 'Welcome @ H-BRS' that is held at the beginning of the winter semester, the university welcomes their new first-semester-students who also get to know the various facilities, offers and contact points of the university at the Market of Opportunities.

The central graduation ceremony, on the other hand, which takes place every year in October, marks the glamorous end of the studies. Dressed in hats and gowns, the graduates, together with their families, fellow students, the faculties and the President's Office, bid farewell to their new phase of life and, following the ceremony, have the opportunity to celebrate their time as students and their graduation with live music and a good atmosphere.

The popular Kinderuni Rhein-Sieg, started in 2014 as a joint project of various universities and now coordinated by the event management team of the H-BRS, is aimed at young scientists in the third to sixth grades, who are taught current research topics in a playful and interactive way.

In addition, the event management coordinates other projects and events and advises colleagues at the H-BRS on organisational issues in their event planning.
