Through the Eyes of a Butterfly: Exploring Biodiversity with Game Technologies
What does the world feel like from the perspective of a butterfly? At the Museumsmeilenfest 2025 at Museum Koenig, students from the Master's degree programme Visual Computing & Games Technology presented an interactive game that combines experiencing nature and digital immersion. In a VR application, visitors were able to immerse themselves in the perspective of an aurora butterfly - with the aim of raising awareness of biodiversity in a new way.

Am Freitag, den 23. Mai 2025, fand am Campus Sankt Augustin der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg ein interner Workshop zum Thema „Diversität und Gleichberechtigung“ statt. Organisiert vom Fachbereich Informatik bot die Veranstaltung Raum für Austausch, Reflexion und gemeinsames Lernen.

Angelika Stabenow: Das Handwerk der Referentin
Nach 12 Jahren im Präsidialbüro der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg sagt Angelika Stabenow Adieu. Dort war sie Persönliche Referentin des Hochschulpräsidenten Hartmut Ihne, nach dessen Ausscheiden im Herbst 2024 begleitete sie noch die Anfangsphase der neuen Präsidentin Marion Halfmann. Am 1. Juli beginnt für Angelika Stabenow eine neue Lebensphase: der Ruhestand.

Im Rahmen des Projekts SoNaR – Sozial gründen, nachhaltig wirken bieten wir Gründer:innen der H-BRS ab sofort die Möglichkeit, eine kostenfreie juristische Erstberatung in Anspruch zu nehmen.
