The campus garden season has begun

On Friday, 25 April 2025, the professor with the green thumb and Dean of the Department of Engineering and Communication (IWK), Iris Groß, and the head of the Evaluation team, Martina Grein, invited all interested parties to the opening of the gardening season in the campus garden from 12:30. Students and employees of H-BRS will be planting, tending and harvesting herbs, vegetables and fruit there. Although most of the growing areas in the raised beds are taken, it's well worth helping out in the beautiful garden behind the university either way.

There is still some space in the herb bed and there are many opportunities to cultivate the garden. In the summer semester, members of the working group are most likely to meet at the beds on Fridays from 12.30 pm, but anyone can come there at any time.

If you are interested, please contact the linked LEA group. There you can find out a lot about the background and organisation of the garden and the gardening work and exchange ideas with the other members.

The campus garden is located in the natural recreational area behind the university and is a place of peace, relaxation and communal gardening. It was opened together with students from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in the summer semester of 2021.
