Dr. Jamie Gurganus von der University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) war zu Gast an der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. In ihrem Vortrag sprach sie über globale Ingenieurausbildung, internationale Teamarbeit und erfolgreiche Strategien zur Förderung von Studierenden.

Motivation for term papers and theses at the “Longest Writing Day of the Year”
When the days grow long again in the summer, the library hosts the “Longest Writing Day of the Year.” For the third time, this event took place on Tuesday, June 16, at the library on the Rheinbach campus. The writing day is organized by the library and the Schreibzentrum + Writing Centre.

ISEE: From small group collaboration to global roundtable — Business Psychology students in Rheinbach collaborate with the University of Pristina
Over 100 students from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg and the University of Pristina in Kosovo came together online for the final phase of the Intercultural & Social Entrepreneurship Exchange (ISEE) project, initiated by Eileen Küpper of the Language Centre Rheinbach.

Am Freitag, den 12. Juni 2026, kamen Studierende, Alumni und Lehrende zum Sommer- und Alumnifest des Bachelor-Studiengangs Nachhaltige Sozialpolitik in der Steyler Mission zusammen. Die Veranstaltung bot Gelegenheit zum Wiedersehen, zum fachlichen Austausch und zur Vernetzung zwischen Studium und Berufspraxis.

The Start-up-Manufaktur is organising the university's internal ideas competition Start-up-Cup for the fifth time! The competition offers students, alumni and employees the opportunity to present their innovative ideas to a wide audience and receive valuable feedback. In addition to cash prizes for the first three places, a special impact prize will also be awarded this year for the best social or sustainability idea.

ProGlobe Project: International Hybrid Student Conference on AI and Communication in the Workforce 2026
As part of the ProGlobe Project and the Erasmus+ funded BAIN project, Master’s students from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (H-BRS), Germany, the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana, and Moi University (MOI), Kenya, will take part in the international virtual exchange and hybrid student conference “AI and Communication in the Workforce.”
