Studierende der Nachhaltigen Sozialpolitik recherchieren die „Top Ten der Vergessenen Nachrichten 2024“
Auch im vergangenen Jahr sind viele gesellschaftlich relevante Themen in den Medien zu wenig oder gar nicht vorgekommen. Ein Grund dafür sind Dauerbrenner-Themen, die anderen Inhalten keinen Platz auf der Bühne überlassen. Außerdem liegt es an den Strukturen in den Medien, die dazu führen, dass wichtige Themen trotz ihrer gesellschaftlichen Relevanz keine Aufmerksamkeit erfahren.

Research team investigates changes in motion perception in space
Dr Nils Bury from the Institute for Visual Computing (IVC), together with researchers from York University led by Prof Dr Laurence Harries, the Canadian Space Agency and NASA, has investigated whether the microgravity of space affects the perception of human self-motion. The first of three studies on this topic has now been published.

Practical project on sustainability management
In the winter semester of 2022/2023, nine students from the Business Management degree programme at the Sankt Augustin campus of Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences embarked on a practical project titled "Advancing Sustainability Management and Reporting at Pronova BKK."

Ralf Schiebel vom Max-Planck-Institut für Chemie (MPIC) ist am Montag, 15. April um 20.15 Uhr, in der ARD Doku "Wie extrem wird das Wetter Sven Plöger?" um 20.15 Uhr zu sehen und am 07. Juni an der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) in Sankt Augustin für einen Gastvortrag.

H-BRS has once again been recognised for its outstanding teaching in the field of auditing. In the Manager Magazin ranking, it achieved ninth place nationwide in the universities of applied sciences category.
