Insights into assistive technologies: ZAT Rhein-Ruhr presents current research
On 3 December 2025, the Zentrum Assistive Technologien (ZAT) Rhein-Ruhr at H-BRS, together with the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems (A2S) and the Institute for Cyber Security & Privacy (ICSP), organised an exhibition that offered interested parties insights into current research work in the field of assistive technologies. The aim of the event was to present new developments, particularly in cognitive assistance systems, and to facilitate direct exchange between researchers, experts and the general public.

ICSP delegation visits Cybersecurity Campus Paris
Prof. Petra Haferkorn travelled to Paris from Sankt Augustin together with her colleagues Prof. Stefan Schiffner and Prof. Hannes Tschofenig as part of a delegation from the ICSP at H-BRS. The two-day trip, organised by the IHK Bonn/Rhein-Sieg, brought entrepreneurs and experts to the Cybersecurity Campus Paris in La Défense, one of Europe's leading centres for cybersecurity. The aim was to open up new perspectives for teaching, research and future cooperation.

Hochschulgesellschaft Bonn-Rhein-Sieg e.V. honors award winners, including those from the field of computer science
Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, 17 October 2025 – The Hochschulgesellschaft Bonn-Rhein-Sieg e.V. has awarded its 2025 prizes for outstanding theses. A total of 22 graduates from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) were honored for their excellent academic achievements. The prizes, each worth €1,000, are traditionally donated by companies and foundations in the region.
