Dr Franz Möller (1930 - 2018)

As a member of the Bundestag (CDU) and later as District Administrator of the Rhein-Sieg district, Dr Franz Möller campaigned vehemently for the interests of the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg/Ahrweiler region in the early 1990s. One result of this was the founding of the university. Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg recognised his achievements and made him an Honorary Senator in January 2011. He was closely associated with the university until his death on 18 April 2018.
