Bachelor Programmes

Applied Biology (BSc)

This English-language programme specialises in modern disciplines of biology with a focus on biomedicine. A large number of international partner universities provide students with the opportunity to continue part of their studies abroad.

Chemistry with Materials Science (BSc)

The study programme combines a research-oriented education in chemistry with hands-on technology-based chemical and materials engineering – a practice-oriented programme.

Forensic Sciences (BSc)

The study programme provides students with skills in forensic analytics, with a focus on chemistry, materials science and biology. Criminological work at a crime scene, law and quality assurance supplement the scientific syllabus.
Lecture languages: 50% German, 50% English.

Master Programmes

Analytical Chemistry and Quality Assurance (MSc)

The study programme covers the fields of safety and security research, in particular with respect to food, medication, the environment and chemicals. It also provides students with methodological skills in the areas of instrumental analytics for chemistry and biology. Lecture languages: 50% German, 50% English.

Official enrolment for winter semester will take place between 15.05. - 15.09.

Biomedical Sciences (MSc)

The Master’s programme deals with research topics from biomedicine, pharmacology, neurobiology, immunology and physiology in particular. This degree programme has an international focus.

Official enrolment for winter semester will take place between 01.02.-15.09. for German and EU students and between 01.02.-30.04. for Non-EU students.

Materials Science and Sustainability Methods (MSc)

The study programme covers the fields of materials science and technical sustainability. It also provides students with methodological skills in the areas of materials development, processing and analysis plus the fields of sustainability aspects as efficient materials, life cycle assessment, conservation of resources and renewables.
Lecture languages: 50% German, 50% English.
