The Communication and Marketing Office is responsible for the external presentation of the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. It ensures a professional public image for the university, whether it is press and public relations work, the website, university marketing, central university events, corporate design or alumni management.
Assigned to the President's Office, the Communication and Marketing Office is in charge of various topics that are relevant to the university's public image. In this context, it advises and supports the university's departments.
The core tasks of the staff unit include university communication with press and public relations, science communication, web editing, social media editing, film and video production, photo editing, internal communication and crisis communication.
The staff unit plays a significant role in advertising measures. Whether in classic print products or in the digital space, nationally or internationally: it makes the university's topics, offers and services visible. Corporate Design is also based in the department, a function that is important for maintaining and developing the H-BRS brand.
The staff unit also organises the central university events. These include the opening of the academic year and the graduation ceremony as well as the popular " Kinderuni Rhein-Sieg" series. In addition, it is responsible for university-wide alumni relations.
Other tasks include supporting trade fair appearances, running the web shop and providing content support for the LED wall at the Sankt Augustin campus.
