The administrative unit Finance and Purchasing manages the budget of Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg.

In addition to preparing and reviewing budgets, its tasks also include expenditure planning. The Purchasing department advises applicants on all questions relating to their procurement projects. It carries out negotiated contracts as well as national and EU-wide tendering procedures on the basis of the applicable procurement law, places orders and concludes university-wide contracts. Financial flows are recorded and H-BRS's cash and cash equivalents are managed. The annual financial statement is prepared, including the balance sheet and profit and loss account.

Administrative unit 3 is therefore the point of contact for all questions relating to budgeting, procurement and accounting.
