The study programme provides students with in-depth insights into the concepts, methods and tools of business administration and economics as well as basics of law and computer science. Particular importance is attached to furthering the students’ key skills.

The study programme includes in-depth, high-level training in basics and methods of business psychology. The practical semester at home or abroad ensures a strong application orientation.

International Business (BSc)

Our new programme International Business (BSc) will develop your understanding of international business in a globalized world. Based on the latest theoretical concepts of business administration we aim to equip you with the key business skills to work successfully in an international business environment. Furthermore, we and our university partners all over the world offer a range of specializations which will allow you to deepen your knowledge and meet your individual goals.

Phased out: Business Administration (BA)

Based on broad and at the same time in-depth basic training in business administration, the degree programme provides students with application-oriented expertise, skills and methods. Above and beyond this, it furthers the students’ international mobility. Start: Winter or summer semester.
Proportion of English: 25 %. Proportion of German: 75%

Master Programmes

Business Psychology (MSc)

The aim of the masters‘ programme in business psychology is to convey applied knowledge, skills and methods for a self-reliant occupation in business psychology. This aim is to be achieved by using well-grounded business psychological fundamentals and methods as a basis in order to deepen understanding for economic goals, processes and behavior. This masters’ program is a full-time programme.

CSR & NGO Management (MBA)

The MBA programme is designed for international students who, after having gained some professional experience, wish to further their management skills based on academic, interdisciplinary and intercultural exchange in order to achieve higher-level objectives in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility and Non-Governmental Organisation(CSR & NGO)Management. With its focus on civil-society (NGOs) and the private-sector (Companies) the CSR & NGO Management degree programme supports the implementation of a “Global Partnership” in the framework of the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students of the MBA programme will be equipped with the know-how and the qualification they need to justice to the principles of sustainability directly within their professional working environment within an Non-Governmental Organization or a CSR department of a private company.

• 28 weekends (Friday and Saturday)

Innovation and Information Management (MSc)

Within this Master’s programme, students widen their expertise in business administration, information technology and law, expressly linking the knowledge thus acquired with skills in IT and information management. In addition, students learn to initiate and manage change processes in all of a company’s departments.

Management Accounting and Management Control (MSc)

Within this Master’s programme, students learn to improve strategic and operational planning, decision-making and organisational processes. In addition, they widen their skills in using management accounting tools in key departments of a company.

Marketing (MSc)

The goal of the Master's programme is to give students a deeper understanding of marketing issues on the basis of a sound marketing-related training. In particular, various technological developments and future trends are taken into account in the development of markets. This ensures that the students are prepared for future market requirements and are very attractive for a potential employer. Classes will take place both on Campus Rheinbach and on Campus Sankt Augustin.

International quota: 7% of the available study places are reserved for applicants from non-EU countries. In terms of figures: 2 study places per year.

General information about applying

This Master’s degree course can be started at the Rheinbach campus in winter semester only. Applications for this Master’s course will be accepted from February 15 until July 15 each year. For applicants with certificates from outside of the EU, degree or diploma certificates that include the average grade, applications will be accepted from February 15 until March 31 each year. For applicants with certificates from outside of the EU, degree or diploma certificates that include the average grade can be submitted until April 30.

Continuing education

Cooperative Study Programme in Business Administration (BA)

Our Cooperative Study Programme (2+2) is a special offer to prospective Chinese students. In cooperation with the Hunan University in Changsha you are given the chance to obtain two degrees in Business Administration after four years of study, one from Hunan University, one from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University.
