Business Management (BSc)

The Department of Management Sciences offers the degree programme in Business Management (BSc) at both the Sankt Augustin campus and the Rheinbach campus. The two programmes have the same content, but take place at different locations.

Business Psychology (BSc)

Are you interested in the relationship between human behaviour and business issues? Do you want to learn more about the interconnection between experience, behaviour and business success? Then our bachelor’s degree programme in Business Psychology (BSc) is just right for you, since this Bachelor of Science course combines psychology with business economics.

International Business (BSc)

The English-language bachelor’s degree programme in International Business (BSc) at the H-BRS offers you a solid foundation for your international management career. The programme covers international business management methods and in-depth knowledge of financial markets, international trade and globalisation.

Phased out: Business Administration (BA)

Based on broad and at the same time in-depth basic training in business administration, the degree programme provides students with application-oriented expertise, skills and methods. Above and beyond this, it furthers the students’ international mobility. Start: Winter or summer semester.
Proportion of English: 25 %. Proportion of German: 75%

Phased out: Business Management (BSc)

The study programme provides students with in-depth insights into the concepts, methods and tools of business administration and economics as well as basics of law and computer science. Particular importance is attached to furthering the students’ key skills.

Master Programmes

Business Psychology (MSc)

The aim of the masters‘ programme in business psychology is to convey applied knowledge, skills and methods for a self-reliant occupation in business psychology. This aim is to be achieved by using well-grounded business psychological fundamentals and methods as a basis in order to deepen understanding for economic goals, processes and behavior. This masters’ program is a full-time programme.

CSR & NGO Management (MBA)

The MBA program is designed for international students with professional experience who wish to develop their management skills. The program offers academic, interdisciplinary and intercultural exchange and deals with the management of corporate social responsibility and non-governmental organizations (CSR & NGO). Students of the MBA program will learn how to promote sustainability within a non-governmental organization or a CSR department.

Innovation and Information Management (MSc)

Within this Master’s programme, students widen their expertise in business administration, information technology and law, expressly linking the knowledge thus acquired with skills in IT and information management. In addition, students learn to initiate and manage change processes in all of a company’s departments.

Management Accounting and Management Control (MSc)

Within this Master’s programme, students learn to improve strategic and operational planning, decision-making and organisational processes. In addition, they widen their skills in using management accounting tools in key departments of a company.

Marketing (MSc)

The goal of the Master's programme is to give students a deeper understanding of marketing issues on the basis of a sound marketing-related training. In particular, various technological developments and future trends are taken into account in the development of markets. This ensures that the students are prepared for future market requirements and are very attractive for a potential employer. Classes will take place both on Campus Rheinbach and on Campus Sankt Augustin.

International quota: 7% of the available study places are reserved for applicants from non-EU countries. In terms of figures: 2 study places per year.

Applications for this Master’s course will be accepted from January 1 until July 15 each year. For applicants with Non-EU nationality, degree or diploma certificates that include the average grade, applications will be accepted from January 1 until March 31 each year.

Continuing education

Chinese-German Double Degree Programme B.Sc. Business Management

Our Cooperative Chinese German double degree programme is a special offer to prospective Chinese students. In cooperation with the Hunan University in Changsha you are given the chance to obtain two degrees in Business Management after approximately four and a half years of study, one from Hunan University, one from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University.
