Welcome to the Department of Natural Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences in Rheinbach. We are very much looking forward to meeting you!

A good study programme starts with good preparation - you'll need information about the organisation of the study programme, the time schedule, the contents, the people involved and how things work with us. This information is provided during the orientation week before the actual start of the lecture period.

We are organising an exciting programme for you, starting on Monday, 22th September 2025, on our Campus in Rheinbach (von Liebig Str. 20, 53359 Rheinbach). During the orientation week (see programme below) you will receive an introduction to the degree programme, the library and the International Office and have the opportunity to meet your professors and fellow students.

The orientation week starts with the following programme:

09:00 - 12:30 Reception International Students, Learn German Effectively (A1 - B2) Room H001
12:30 - 13:30 Lunch Break
13:30 - 14:00 Welcome Event for all 1st Semester Biomedical Sciences Students, Prof. Jäger, HS3
14:00 - 14:30 Introduction to M.Sc. Programme, Prof'in. Muscate, HS3
14:30 - 15:00 Introduction to Electives & Industry Track, Prof. Sieber, HS3
15:00 - 17:00 Campus Rallye, Start: Building C - Cafeteria
17:00 - Open End Social Event with Fellow Students organized by the Student Council
