Information on data storage and utilisation within the alumni network of the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences

Upon registration the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg Unversity of Applied Sciences stores the personal data requested of its alumni as well as other interested university members in a central database for the sole purpose of carrying out the alumni activities run by the university’s central administration (E-Mail: Newsletter, Invitations) and by each department .

The central alumni managers and the alumni commissioners of the department in question are the only ones to have access to the alumnus’/alumna’s personal data.

In addition, the university's IT-Service is entitled to make changes to the database for the purpose of performing maintenance and updates. Our staff will change and delete the data after having been notified accordingly by the person concerned. The data may by no means be forwarded to third parties. Alumni registration is voluntary and may be revoked with future effect at any time. All data will then be deleted without delay.
