Visit from our partner university Institute of Finance Management (IFM)

On May 10, a first, preparatory meeting with two representatives of the IFM took place, in which the mutual expectations of the cooperation were discussed. Within the framework of the TOFI project, a delegation trip to Tanzania will take place next year, in 2024, for which this exchange was of great importance.

First contacts were made and possible central topics of the partnership were addressed. Since those responsible for the TOFI project are committed to cross-university cooperation, not only department-specific matters are on the agenda in this context, but also collaboration in the area of university structure and administration.

The IFM representatives, Zubeda Chande Mpinga and Arthur Joseph Ngasani, not only gained impressions of the H-BRS during their visit but also actively contributed to the implementation of the Summer School BIDA. There are already long-standing relationships with IFM in FB06 and the Language Center, which will now be extended to other departments and units in the coming years. Before and after this strategic pre-meeting, the IFM visitors also had the opportunity to exchange ideas with representatives of other H-BRS departments.

Both H-BRS and IFM are looking forward to further deepening the partnership.
