Nina Wigger - Social Media Ambassador

Hello Traveller,

I am Nina and one of the Ambassadors for the International Office of the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. I am currently in my 5th semester of studying Sustainable Social Policy and have spent a semester abroad at the University of Sunshine Coast in Australia. In Australia, I completed the Diploma of General Studies and at the same time completed my major in Sociology.

Besides studying, I also enjoy traveling and am a very active adventurous person. I bought a campervan and also converted it a bit more. During the semester, work-life balance was my top priority, which is why I spent a lot of my free time traveling with my camper. The next few months I will then drive from the Sunshine Coast across the south to Perth on the west coast. 

I really enjoyed studying here on many levels and I would recommend a semester abroad in Australia to everyone, not only for the academic experience, but also because of the life experience you gain. I think the international experience is an incredible enrichment for everyone, regardless of the study program, because the experiences you make abroad, you make nowhere to the same extend.
