H-BRS President Professor Dr Hartmut Ihne and Professor Dr Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor of the Government College University Faisalabad, signed an agreement while meeting for the first time on Sankt Augustin Campus. The agreement is valid over a period of three years. The academic cooperation between the two institutions will enable consolidation of the partnership between the countries of Germany and Pakistan and facilitate a deeper understanding of their respective living and working conditions.

The two universities agree to cooperate over the full spectrum of their interests with specific agreements governing individual subject areas. The cooperation will chiefly be concerned with:

  • Exchange of hosting visiting academic, technical and administrative staff
  • Exchange of students on undergraduate programs to secure foreign experience
  • Establishment of direct data links and other electronic communication
  • Publication of joint papers and technical communications on collaborative work
  • Organization of conferences, seminars and workshops for dissemination of findings
  • Certification of study programmes for recognition in the partner institution
  • Each host institution will assist in locating accommodation for staff and students who are participating in exchange programs.

Management and Administrative Sciences are currently identified as a discipline area shared in both universities.
