At the Female Founders Meetup, you can get together in a relaxed atmosphere with other female founders and women from the region who are interested in starting a business. Current and former EXIST-Women participants from the University of Bonn and Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg as well as other women from the regional ecosystem who are interested in starting a business meet up for breakfast at the DIGITALHUB Bonn. After two short impulses from EXIST Women alumnae, who will talk about their time during the programme and how their path continued after their participation, there will be time for exchange, networking and discussions with other female founders from the region.

Look forward to a breakfast together where you can be inspired and make new contacts (or meet old ones). In addition to exciting conversations and surprises, three inspiring women will give us insights into their work and the power of networking:

Cynthia Boachie-Tuffour (Alumna AWAKE 2025): Cynthia shows how her startup breaks down hurdles with authorities and German bureaucracy to give women with a migratory background the best possible basis for integration into society and the labour market.
Sena Dogan (Alumna exist women Uni Bonn 2025): She presents her start-up lessn, which brings a breath of fresh air to the tutoring market with a new concept.
Özlem Doger-Herter (Ask-a-woman.com): Özlem gives us an impulse on the topic of networking and explains why strong networks are a decisive success factor, especially for women.

After the impulses, the stage is yours: Use the time to exchange ideas, talk and network with other female founders from the region.

Note for participants with child(ren): Unfortunately, we cannot offer you professional childcare, but your children are very welcome! Feel free to bring them along.

SoNaR - Social start-up, sustainable impact

Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, the University of Bonn and Alanus University are pursuing a new programme with the SoNaR - Sozial gründen, nachhaltig wirken: Impact Cluster Region Bonn-Rhein-Sieg as part of the "Nachhaltig wirken - Förderung gemeinwohlorientierter Unternehmen" funding guideline of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), a new programme to support start-ups that focus on the common good.
