German Language Café

The German language Café was set up at the suggestion of many students and offers you the chance to improve your spoken German in a relaxed and informal atmosphere and to gain more confidence when speaking. 

Together, we discuss topics from everyday life and various areas such as travel, sport, university studies and work. You can contribute your own topics and interests and exchange ideas with other students. 
The German Language Café is particularly helpful for anyone looking for a job in Germany or already use German at work. After all, professional life isn’t just about specialist German language skills: small talk, spontaneous conversations with colleagues, discussions in the context of job applications, or brief exchanges during your day-to-day working routine are all part of it.

At the German language Café, you can practise these situations in a relaxed atmosphere, thereby gaining greater confidence and self-assurance when speaking. 
Prerequisite for participation: a good command of German at B1 or B2 level.

The German Language Café will take place in Sankt Augustin every Thursday from 15 October to 17 December 2026, from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm. Registration via LEA – see the link below.
