Sabrina Lee from Malaysia: Experiences as an international student on the Applied Biology degree programme
Hi, I'm Sabrina from Malaysia and I am currently in the 5th semester of BSc Biology. It has been a worthwhile experience for me to be able to come to Europe, particularly here in Germany to further my studies.
The way of life and culture are definitely different from my homeland. The things which I dislike are the weather and food here. The weather is unpredictable and can be unbearable at times. As for the food, it is actually not really to my liking, it lacks the variety and spiciness of Asian food.
No matter what, I am certain that I have found the right university for me. It is quite a newly built university and well equipped with some of the latest equipments for students to have direct hand-on experience. Besides, the professors here are helpful and supportive.
I hope my brief description could be helpful for those who are interested in furthering the studies here.
