Forum Mentoring

Forum Mentoring, the Federal Association for Mentoring in Science, was founded in 2001 as an association of coordinators of mentoring programs in science and has been operating as a registered association (e.V.) since 2006.

The association's goal is to promote equal opportunities in science and research. Its purpose is to network and support gender- and diversity-responsive mentoring measures with a special focus on women in academia, science, and research, as well as on their path to achieving this goal.

Program "Into the Lecture Halls!"

The program "Into the lecture Halls!" is an initiative of the women's representatives of the universities of applied sciences in Bavaria.
It is aimed at qualified women from professional practice who aspire to a career as a university professor and already have relevant professional experience for this, have a doctorate or will soon have a doctorate and only need teaching experience to become eligible for appointment.

The program is aimed specifically at women from business and administration as well as (post-)doctoral students from various universities who are candidates for subsequent appointment to an HAW professorship.
