The university offers all students the possibility to use the video conferencing tool Cisco Webex. To make it as easy as possible for you to get started, we have provided instructions on this page on key aspects such as setup and use.

Self-registration with MIA

In order to apply for a Webex account, you must have a MIA account. If you have not registered yet, the following instructions will guide you through the process:

Apply for a Webex Account

If you already have a MIA account, it only takes a few steps to apply for a Webex account. These are illustrated in the following instructions:

 

Using Webex

Once you have activated your account, you can log in to the H-BRS Webex site or the Webex Meetings app. Cisco provides instructions in the Webex Help Center for all essential features of Webex Meetings and Teams, such as:

A LEA forum has been set up for the exchange of information on problems and questions relating to Cisco Webex. In this forum, university staff will try to provide assistance based on the best-effort principle. However, you should be able to find answers to most of your questions regarding the functionality and use of the software in the Cisco Webex documentation.
