Sending e-mail

LEA has got an integrated mailing system, which you can use to send e-mails to individuals, groups or whole courses. The e-mails are sent internally using LEA, and they can just as readily be forwarded to e-mail addresses stored externally.​

Forums

​A forum can be used for discussions on different topics, that are visible for all course members. The students are able to compose own posts or reply to other posts of fellow students. Furthermore a forum is suitable for clarifying open questions.

There also is the possibility to create a forum, that allows only you as a lecturer to compose new posts, e.g. in order to provide your students with important information.​

Chat​room

​​Creating a chatroom is suitable for rapid communication and exchange of information between many course members participating at the same time. 

Blog

Blogs can be used to publish important information on a course or to inform about specific topics regularly. There also is the possibility to create a blog, that allows each course member to compose new posts.
