Sankt Augustin Campus, which is home to the Departments of Computer Science, Management Sciences, Social Policy and Social Security Studies as well as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Technical Journalism/PR, comprises around 6,000 students in 2019. Extended opening hours during exam time
For 3 weekends before the date of the first examination and throughout the examination period, the university will be staying open for students on Saturdays until 10 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm.

H-BRS Sankt Augustin is a non-smoking campus. Smoking is only allowed in selected smoking areas outside the buildings.
The campus is home to several research institutes such as the Institute of Safety and Security Research (ISF), the Institute for Technology, Renewables and Energy-efficient Engineering (TREE) and the Institute of Visual Computing (IVC). The International Centre for Sustainable Development (IZNE) in Sankt Augustin works on topics such as sustainable technologies, social security and health as well as responsible economic activities.
Building F: BusinessCampus
The BusinessCampus Rhein-Sieg in Grantham-Allee 8 (building F) offers a centre for start-up companies. New entrepreneurs and innovative companies are provided with office space, laboratories, and meeting / conference rooms there. These facilities are complemented by entrepreneurial support services, consulting services and the procurement of business contacts.
The Center for Science and Technology Transfer (ZWT) of H-BRS is the central service and contact point of the university for scientists in the field of applied research.
Building K: H-BRS in Technopark Sankt Augustin
In the rooms of the Technopark Sankt Augustin courses and events of the Language Centre (room K 202) and the degree programme Analysis and Design of Social Protection Systems (MSc) (Room K 204) take place. In addition, the Institute for Media Research and Development (IMEA) and the Institute for Safety and Security Research (ISF) are located there, as well as the Multimedia Communication Laboratory (MCLab) of the Department of Computer Science. Building S: H-BRS at Steyler Mission
The bachelor degree programme Sustainable Social Policy (BA) takes place in Sankt Augustin in the Techno-Park (building K) as well as on the premises of the Steyler Mission (building S, Arnold-Janssen-Straße).
