What do I want to study? Our Bachelor's degree programmes at a glance
For the Winter semester 2026/2027, H-BRS offers a total of 21 bachelor's degree programmes in the Departments of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Communication, Computer Science, Social Policy and Social Security and Management Sciences.
Admission to the programme varies depending on whether a degree programme is admission-free or admission-restricted. Five of the degree programmes are dual or cooperative variants, which means that you need a training contract with an employer.
On the website "Apollo: Application Portal Learning - Teaching - Organising" you will find a list of all Bachelor's degree programmes and their current application or enrolment deadlines, locations and languages of instruction.
The website also explains step by step how to enrol and apply for restricted and unrestricted admission degree programmes.

Practical and application-oriented
All bachelor's degree programmes at H-BRS are geared towards the needs of professional practice and offer a solid foundation for a career in business, science or society.
Admission-restricted degree programmes
An application is required for admission-restricted degree programmes. It runs via the so-called dialogue-oriented service procedure (DoSV): First you register on the website hochschulstart.de. With the access data available there, you start your application on the H-BRS application portal Apollo. The application deadline for degree programmes with restricted admission ends on 15 July 2026.
Unrestricted admission degree programmes
For unrestricted admission degree programmes, however, you can enrol directly without a prior application. This is also done online via the H-BRS application portal Apollo. It is noted there which degree programmes are admission-free. You can enrol for almost all admission-free degree programmes until 1 October 2026.
If you are unsure which degree programme is the right one for you, the Student Advice Centre at H-BRS will be happy to help. If you have any questions about registering on the portal hochschulstart.de, please contact the application service of hochschulstart.de, for questions about the application to Studierendenservice.
