Study information days on 26 and 27 January 2024
Robots, lock picking, game studio, camera driving licence, smart factory and e-racing cars:
On Friday, 26 January 2024, the Departments of Engineering and Communication and Computer Science will provide practical insights into their degree programmes with demo lectures, informational talks and presentations. Integrated into the programme is the "Open Project Day", where students from the Department of Engineering and Communication will show how they implement scientific learning content in practical and real-life projects, and the open labs offered by the Department of Computer Science. You are welcome to have a look and give it a try!
Various university contact points will be available at the counselling market from 12:00 to 16:00 to answer individual questions about studying. A number of foundations will also be on site with their offers for student financing through scholarships, the Studierendenwerk Bonn, which will provide information on housing and BAföG, and the Employment Agency, which will provide advice on career opportunities after graduation.
Natural sciences, social policy and management sciences
On Saturday, 27 January 2024, the focus will be on the Department of Natural Sciences, the Department of Social Policy and Social Security Studies and the Department of Management Sciences. There will be sample lectures and a guided tour of the departments. On this day too, the information stands at the Advice Market will offer plenty of opportunity to obtain individual advice from the university's contact points and external institutions.
The university and district library is open on both days and can be explored.
All offers are free of charge. The programme is part of the NRW-wide study orientation weeks. Students who are required to attend school can be released from school to attend events during the study orientation weeks. In these cases, they receive certificates of attendance.
