GET together during spring break for girls in grades 5 through 7
Participants work with the UMT system, a tooling system that enables them to safely and easily create their own products. Starting with semi-finished parts, they gradually build custom workpieces—following real-world workshop processes.
The course provides fundamental insights into technical and design thinking and lets participants experience how an idea becomes a tangible result.
No prior knowledge is required. The prerequisites are curiosity, an interest in experimenting, and a love of hands-on work. An introduction to the tools is provided at the beginning, and all work steps are guided by experts.
