Our students qualify as specialists for the booming games industry, but also for commercial enterprises with a need for 3D visualizations, simulations and serious games and as scientists for the rapidly developing interdisciplinary research in this field.

Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences is a dynamic and research-oriented university with bright, spacious premises in the middle of the Rhineland. Close to the campus there is affordable accomodation and good public transport connections to Cologne and Bonn with lively nightlife and a wide variety of cultural events. But the Rhine, Sieg and Siebengebirge mountains are also right on your doorstep and offer recreation close to nature.

The Department of Computer Science recently achieved a place in the TOP 10 of the best German universities of applied sciences in the Wirtschaftswoche magazine. The focus here was on the popularity of graduates for future employers. We are proud that our alumni are so welcome on the job market.

They also benefit from the long-established Research Focus Visual Computing with its own research institute, state-of-the-art equipment, numerous international projects, e.g. with partners in Canada, Japan and the U.S.A. and the immediate proximity to the media metropolis Cologne as well as the economically strong region. The possibility of a subsequent doctorate is given if the candidate is suitably qualified.
