Wednesday 1 April 2020

The department of computer science and especially the Autonomous systems group are happy to welcome 18 new students to the Master's course in Autonomous Systems.

Unlike usual, the new students, their tutors and professors did not gather on site at the H-BRS to get to know each other personally, but in front of their home screens. Due to the current corona crisis the welcome meeting took place for the first time via zoom.

The summer semester 2020 batch is the 36th generation of young roboticists studying at H-BRS. Students come from  Bolivia, Canada, Germany, Italy, India, Pakistan and Vietnam.  Venkata Santosh and his team of  volunteers have already accompanied our new students first steps during the recent foundation course.  Even under difficult conditions, the study buddies worked hard to give the newcomers a good start.

Professors, lecturers and course coordinator Iman Awaad joined forces to ensure that all relevant information is given to our students through various platforms such as zoom, LEA, discord and the department homepage.

We wish all new Master students a good virtual start at the H-BRS and hope to see you again soon in person!
