By now, the reappointment of Prof. Dr Rainer Herpers as Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) in Canada has become something of a tradition. He was first appointed as an adjunct professor at UNB back in 2008 and in 2017 his contract was extended for the last time by four years. On behalf of UNB, Prof. Dr. Kathy Wilson, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs in Fredericton, now presented R. Herpers with the documents for a further contract extension until 31.08.2025.

The partnership between the University of New Brunswick in Canada and the Department of Computer Science at H-BRS is one of the department's oldest and also most intensive collaborations.
