The tie is off! Alaaf!

It has become a tradition. At 11:11 a.m. on the dot, the tie of Dean Prof Dr Sascha Alda was cut off by Anette Schiffmann! Now it's time to celebrate Weiberfastnacht! Please note that special opening hours apply on these festive days!

Weiberfastnacht

On Thursday, 08 February 2024, the university closes at 18:00. The adjoining buildings close at 2 p.m., only the main building and library are open until 6 p.m.  

Carnival Friday

The department secretariat will be closed all day on Friday, 09 February 2024.

Rosenmontag

On Monday, 12 February 2024, the university including the library will be closed all day, there will be no telephone consultation.
