Time
21:00 - 22:00
Location
Citizens' radio Bonn/Rhein-Sieg
At the beginning of the show, the presenters embark on an acoustic journey to the beginnings of technically modified music and listen to how people started experimenting with technical sounds in the 1940s. Since then, countless musical genres have developed that would be unthinkable without technology. Music editor Simon Rodig has prepared a wide selection for the program.
In his article, reporter Henrik Baumanns looks at music created by artificial intelligence. He shows how you can generate your own music online in just a few steps with the help of AI. At the end, he challenges the presenters: can they tell the difference between a “real” song and an AI-generated song?
Afterwards, Prof. Hartmut Ihne will be in the studio to talk about AI and its influence on our society. He explains why the “ability to tell the truth” is at risk, but also what opportunities are associated with technology and AI for a better world. As a small “farewell gift” to mark the approaching end of his presidency at H-BRS, bluedot FM has prepared an AI song, which Hartmut Ihne will listen to live in the studio.
We continue with reporter Carmen Liebig. She visits Luisa Klement's current exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Bonn, which also deals with the question of how much technology influences our everyday lives. She asks the artist why she brings art and technology together.
