Opening hours on Carnival 2023
In 2023, members of the university will again have some time off during the fifth season of the year to cultivate customs. The university is closed from 13:00 on Weiberfastnacht and all day on Shrove Monday/Rosenmontag.

Weiberfastnacht
The university will be closed from 13:00 on Thursday, 16 February 2023. This also includes all telephone counselling services such as the General Student Advisory Service, Registrar's Office and Language Centre.
Rosenmontag/Shrove Monday
On Monday, 20 February 2023, the university including the library will be closed all day, there will be no telephone counselling.
Library open on Weiberfastnacht
Thursday, 16 February 2023 (Weiberfastnacht)
- The library at Sankt Augustin Campus is open from 08:00 to 19:00 (specialist staff until 13:00).
- The library at Rheinbach Campus, interim office Egermannstraße, is open from 09:00 to 13:00.
