PhD Scholarship

The doctoral scholarship is awarded for a maximum of 3 years and paid out in monthly instalments. It is intended to support graduates of the Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences or academic staff  with an excellent master's degree in the completion of their doctorate.

Are you almost on the home stretch with your doctoral project? But in order to be able to concentrate on writing during the last few months, you need financial independence? That is why the Graduate Institute of the H-BRS has been awarding three-month writing scholarships since 2021.

Promotionsstellen an der H-BRS über das PK NRW

Im Rahmen der Maßnahme werden exzellente Wissenschaftler*innen auf ihrem Weg zur Promotion durch die Vergabe von TVL-E13-Promotionsstellen unterstützt. Bei den Stellenanteilen orientiert sich das PK NRW an den Hinweisen zur Bezahlung von Promovierenden der DFG (04/23), so dass je nach Fachrichtung zwischen 65 % und 100 %- TVL-E13-Stellen gefördert werden.

Kurzzeitstipendien des PK NRW

Das Promotionskolleg NRW fördert herausragende Promovierende durch Zwischen- bzw. Abschlussfinanzierung von Promotionsvorhaben. Die finanzielle Unterstützung soll den Promovierenden Freiräume zur vertieften wissenschaftlichen Arbeit und zum Schreiben schaffen. Zum Zwecke der Frauenförderung werden explizit auch frauenspezifische Stipendien vergeben.
