Development of software and communication interfaces for a load-cycling test rig

The WireLife research project is developing an automated cyclic loading test rig, specifically to characterise the service life of bond wires from semiconductor power modules. In order to operate the cyclic loading test rig automatically, software must be developed to coordinate all processes and communicate with all participants. In addition to the software, various communication interfaces are to be developed. Furthermore, it must be possible to securely store, process and visualise the data generated.
