Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten in der Bibliothek

Opening hours

by arrangement

An ombudsperson (Professor Klaus Lehmann) and a deputy ombudsperson (Professor Christine Syrek) have been in place at H-BRS since 2023 to ensure Good Research Practice. Ombudspersons act as neutral and qualified contact persons to advise on questions of Good Research Practice and in cases of suspected academic misconduct. As far as possible, they contribute to solution-oriented conflict mediation.

The ombudspersons at H-BRS receive enquiries while maintaining confidentiality and, if necessary, forward suspected cases of scientific misconduct to the responsible body or, in the case of suspected scientific misconduct, to a commission for independent investigation.

Complaints can be directed to the local ombudsperson at H-BRS or to the Ombudsman for Research Integrity in Germany The German Research Ombudsman . All members or affiliates of the H-BRS are free to choose which body they contact with their concerns.
