The Intensive English course aims to strengthen your English language skills and supports you in developing confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while focusing on topics relevant to university life and the professional world.

Date in the lecture-free period between summer semester 2026 and winter semester 2026/27:

Level: A2/B1 (Elementary / Pre-Intermediate)
Dates: 14–25 September 2026 (6 sessions - Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays)
Times:
Mondays: 9:00–13:00
Wednesdays: 8:30–12:00
Fridays: 9:00–12:00

Course information:

The Language Centre offers an online Intensive English course at level A2/B1 (Elementary / Pre-Intermediate). The course is suitable for students who would like to improve their general English skills or gain greater confidence in academic and professional contexts. The course focuses on language relevant to university life and professional communication.

Course requirements:

28 teaching units (equivalent to 2 SWS)
1 test and 1 presentation
Attendance requirement: 75%

Enrolment

Only enrolled students of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences can participate in this course. The intensive course is a voluntary course and is not reported to the examination office (no ECTS).
