Consultation days for prospective students: "Your path to university"

Do you have any questions as you prepare to start your degree? At our consultation days for prospective students, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss these during an appointment with a student adviser. The consultation days take place at the Sankt Augustin campus, via video chat or by telephone. You can book an appointment online.

The next consultation days will take place from 19 to 30 October 2026.

In these two weeks, the Student Advice Centre is offering a particularly large number of advisory appointments as part of its consultation days for prospective students! Make the most of this opportunity and book an appointment!

The Student Advice Centre provides advice on the range of courses offered at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg as well as across universities.

Possible topics include, for example:

  • Support in the search for suitable degree programmes
  • Support in deciding on a degree programme
  • Questions about the range of degree programmes offered by Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg
  • Questions about the application process, for example, when applying for several degree programmes
  • Questions about starting your studies

 All questions about choosing and starting a degree programme are welcome!

If you have questions about formal aspects of your application (certificates, submission of documents, entries in the application form, etc.), please do not book an appointment at the consultation day but contact Student Services directly!

The dates for the consultation days can be found further down on this page. Please book your appointment via our online calendar. You must click on the relevant day in the view to see available appointments. You will receive directions and the room number by e-mail after booking. If you cannot see any appointments on an announced day, all available slots are already booked.

Immediately after booking, you will receive an automatic booking confirmation by email, including the room number or Webex link. If you do not receive this email, please contact us!

Of course, the Student Advice Centre is available to offer you advice even outside of the designated consultation days. Via the link to the appointment booking system, you can also find available slots outside of these consultation days.

We also have open telephone consultation hours during which you can get in touch with minor enquiries, or to clarify whether your questions should be discussed with the Student Advice Centre or another point of contact at H-BRS.
