You love plants or simply want to touch up your home with a splash of green? Then come visit our plant exchange? You can swap or give awary plants, seeds and cuttings and browse our media collection.

How does it work?

Bring your (small) plants: House plants, garten plants, herbs, bulbs or seed - anything goes!
Swap or give away: Find a plan you like and swap it for one of your own - or just take home aplant or seeds you like for free,

When and where?

The plant exchange will take place in April 2025 in both the Rheinbach and Sankt Augustin Campus Libraries (addressees & opening hours below).

Why participate?

Save resources: Swapping plants saves resources, because fewer plants need to be produced, transported and sold in garden centers - and supports recycling management and reduces waste.
Lower costs: By participating in a plant exchange instead of buying new plants, you can save a lot of money.

The plant exchange will be accompanied by a special media exhibition on sustainability. The new exhibition shelves have been kindly sponsored by Deutsche Telekom.
