New: SoSci Survey – Online surveys for your research
With immediate effect, Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) has a university licence for SoSci Survey. This allows all H-BRS students and staff to create online surveys for non-commercial research purposes free of charge and securely—without any additional fees or technical hurdles.

16 participants were thrilled by the MINT-EC camp ‘Campus Crime Lab – Hands-on Forensics’
16 participants were thrilled by the MINT-EC camp ‘Campus Crime Lab – Hands-on Forensics’. For three days, the Rheinbach campus became the hub for 16 pupils from the regional network of MINT-EC schools in Bonn – Rhein-Sieg – Ahr. The Department of Natural Sciences offered them the opportunity to solve forensic problems using modern analytical methods as part of a university camp with a supporting programme.

H-BRS staff participates in 14th UEED Africa Conference in Ghana
This conference took place on 15th and 16th of September 2026 at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in Ghana and gathered more than 400 people to discuss how to build resilient ecosystems for Africa’s digital and artificial intelligence future.

Neue Studierende starten in den Bachelor Nachhaltige Sozialpolitik
Am 22. September 2026 sind die neuen Erstsemester des Bachelorstudiengangs Nachhaltige Sozialpolitik an der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) in ihr Studium gestartet. Beim Einführungstag erhielten sie wichtige Informationen rund um Hochschule, Fachbereich und Studiengang und hatten zugleich Gelegenheit, ihre neuen Mitstudierenden und zentrale Ansprechpersonen kennenzulernen.
