Anonymous data is collected to analyse psychological stress as part of a scientific study project at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. Below we inform you in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR about the associated data processing

3. Purpose of data processing

The purpose of the survey is to scientifically evaluate a relaxation system in the work context and to analyse mental stress in the work context based on the COPSOQ questionnaire. The aim is to make statements about possible health-promoting effects. The results will be included in a scientific evaluation in anonymous form. 

4. Type of data processed

No directly or indirectly personal data will be collected. The information is completely anonymous and includes: 

•  Age (in categories)
• Gender
• Health-related information on psychological stress factors based on the COPSOQ questionnaire (e.g. exhaustion, work commitment)

5. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for data processing is: 

• Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent)
• Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR (consent to the processing of special categories of personal data)
• § 27 para. 1 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR (consent to the processing of special categories of personal data)
• . Art. 9 para. 2 lit. j GDPR (processing for scientific research purposes)

6. Anonymity and technical implementation

The technical anonymisation takes place before or immediately upon collection. It is not possible to trace individual responses. The survey is conducted using the GDPR-compliant, ISO 27001 and TISAX-certified tool LamaPoll. No IP addresses are stored, no cookies are used for multiple avoidance, no device recognition is carried out and no pages of origin are recorded. Subsequent re-identification of participants is excluded. 

7.    Recipients of the data

• Internal university departments entrusted with the evaluation and analysis
• The companies participating in the survey do not receive any personal data, but only aggregated and statistically processed results
• brainLight GmbH also only receives statistical evaluations without personal reference

There is no transfer to third countries.

8. Storage period

The anonymous raw data will be stored for 10 years for scientific purposes in accordance with the rules of good scientific practice

9. Voluntary participation

Participation in the survey is voluntary. Non-participation or skipping individual questions has no disadvantages for you.

11. Note on your rights under Art. 15 ff. GDPR

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection and data portability in accordance with Art. 15 to 21 GDPR.

As the survey is conducted completely anonymously and no conclusions can be drawn about your person, there is no personal reference within the meaning of the GDPR. Accordingly, the rights under Art. 15 ff. GDPR do not apply, as they relate exclusively to personal data.

Please also note: Once you have submitted the questionnaire, it is no longer possible to withdraw your consent, as your details have been collected anonymously and cannot be traced back to you.
