5th Venice Privacy Symposium: International Research on Privacy and AI
The 5th Venice Privacy Symposium took place during the week of 20–25 April 2026. Prof. Dr Stefan Schiffner has been responsible for organising the academic programme since the conference was founded.
At the internationally oriented symposium, interdisciplinary researchers from the fields of law, computer science, and sociology presented current work on privacy in the context of artificial intelligence. The conference thus provided an important platform for cross-disciplinary exchange on issues of high societal relevance.
The proceedings will be published by Springer in the near future.
