Insights into the Media Industry: Visit by Journalist Ian McMaster
Fourth-semester students of technical journalism and visual technical communication were given a guest lecture by Munich-based journalist Ian McMaster this semester.

Ian is the now retired long-time and founding editor-in-chief of the English-language magazine Business Spotlight.
In his workshop he gave tips on how to communicate successfully across cultures and explained possible career paths into the media industry.
Students took great interest and asked many questions afterwards, especially on the opportunities and difficulties of establishing themselves in the media sector.
