Promotional Video International Career Service ★ Bridge2Success: Supporting International Talent on the Path Into the German Job Market

International students bring not only academic expertise but also fresh perspectives, valuable experiences, and intercultural skills. Through its International Career Service ★ Bridge2Success, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences supports them in successfully making the transition from university into the German job market. At the same time, the project creates opportunities for regional companies to connect with and recruit international talent.

With its new promotional video, the International Career Service ★ Bridge2Success showcases the wide range of support available to international students and introduces the people behind the project. International students share their experiences at H-BRS and explain how the International Career Service ★ Bridge2Success accompanies them on their personal and professional journeys. Project staff and representatives from the regional company “Opdenhoff” also provide insights into their collaboration, demonstrating how initial connections can develop into meaningful career opportunities. The promotional video highlights what the International Career Service ★ Bridge2Success is all about: bringing people together, fostering potential, and shaping the future together.

For many international students, the transition from university to professional life comes with unique challenges – from language barriers and cultural differences to navigating an unfamiliar job market. This is where the International Career Service ★ Bridge2Success comes in. The project supports students throughout their entire academic journey, offering a wide range of services including language and application training, coaching, workshops, company visits, and networking events.

With around 19 percent international students, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences is home to a diverse and international academic community. The International Career Service ★ Bridge2Success builds on this diversity by strengthening collaboration between the university and regional employers. Both sides benefit: international graduates gain better opportunities to launch their careers in Germany, while companies gain access to highly qualified professionals for the future.

Funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) until the end of 2028, the International Career Service ★ Bridge2Success makes an important contribution to addressing the regional skills shortage while demonstrating how international talent and local businesses can succeed together.
