Department of Computer Science
Project: AI Character Generator
How are AI-generated images created? And how can modern AI models be integrated into interactive applications? AI Character Generator demonstrates how innovative technologies are used in practice.
Visitors have their photo taken and then select their preferred scenario. With the help of artificial intelligence, the image is creatively reimagined in a matter of seconds – from futuristic settings to fantasy worlds. The result can be viewed straight away and printed out on request.
The project provides a clear and engaging explanation of how image AI works and the technical and creative possibilities it offers. At the same time, it demonstrates how students develop and programme cutting-edge technologies and translate them into exciting applications. Anyone interested in computer science, artificial intelligence and digital innovation will gain an authentic insight into practical projects and the degree programme.
AI Character Generator is a joint project between the Department of Computer Science and the IVC, and illustrates how interdisciplinary collaboration transforms innovative ideas into tangible applications.
Project duration: Since 26 February 2026, ongoing.
