Small cross-Registration
Enrolled students from other universities who are not on leave of absence may be admitted upon application as “small secondary students” with the right to attend courses and take examinations during their studies. In accordance with the enrolment regulations, the university may restrict the admission of secondary listeners in accordance with the provisions of Section § 59 of the Higher Education Act (HG NRW).
The examination board of the respective faculty decides on admission to the courses. The prerequisite for admission is the placement in a corresponding subject semester and the approval of the respective examination board.
Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg charges a fee of Euro 100 per semester for small cross-registered students that are enrolled at another German university. The fee is due after admission to the degree programme and upon enrolment as a "small cross-registered student".
Application
An application for the winter semester is possible in the period from 16 .07. to 15.09., an application for the summer semester in the period from 16 .01. to 15 .03. of each year.
Please submit to the Student Services the filled in and signed application form for admission as "small cross-registered student", a current transcript of records, a module description, a photocopy of your identity card, a current certificate of enrolment from your first university and a photocopy of your university entrance qualification.
Small cross registration is valid for one semester only. A new application is required for a continuation of the small cross registration in the following semester.

Small cross-registered students can register online for exams via the student portal SIS.
