Winter Term 2026/2027
Application period for applicants with a visa requirement with a Bachelor's degree from abroad who do not yet have a visa for Germany: 15 November 2025 to 15 February 2026, exclusively via uni-assist.
Apllication period for Germans, applicants without a visa requirement and applicants who already have a visa for Germany (with a Bachelor's degree from Germany or abroad): 15 November 2025 to 31 May 2026 via the application portal Apollo.
Acceptance Notification: by August (on a rolling basis)
Enrolment: August – exact dates for the Winter Term 2026/2027 tbc
Winter Term 2025/2026:
Arrival in Germany: by September 1st, 2025
Welcome International Students: September 3rd, 2025
The International Office and current students provide guidance on topics like housing, registration of your address, reporting to the Foreigner's Office, opening a bank account, SIM cards and other practical issues. More information on the event page below.
Orientation Days: September 3rd (for international students), September 10 and September 19, 2025 (for all students).
Attendance at the Orientation Days are highly recommended for all first semester students. More information on the event page below.
On-campus Pre-Courses: September 4 to September 16, 2025
The preparatory courses in Statistics and Economics take place every day in the assigned period. There will be ungraded online assessment test in the end. They serve as a self-assessment for you to know if you need to prepare more before the start of classes.
There will be no hybrid delivery of the class (i.e. live stream) due to the interactive nature of the classes.
Attendance of the pre-courses is highly recommended for everybody, especially if you do not have a background in Economics and/or Statistics.

Study information day Rheinbach 2026
At the Student Information Day the H-BRS will be presenting its Bachelor's degree programmes. The focus is on the Rheinbach-based departments of Natural Sciences and Economics. In addition, the Student Advice Centre and other stakeholders will be on hand to answer questions about studying.
