WORKSHOP

What does queer actually mean? And what is gender? Is a look between the legs enough?
Fernseher mit LGBTIQ+ Flagge (DE)

More and more identities and terms are coming out of hiding into visibility, and more and more often we encounter them openly in our everyday lives and workplaces. In our Queer Basics workshop, we want to talk about this diversity, which is often perceived as new, and the realities of life behind the terms. Which social structures lead to discrimination, to exclusion and violence? How can I deal with my own insecurity? In a mixture of workshop elements, impulse lectures and detailed question rounds, we want to approach the topic of queer. In a relaxed atmosphere we will clarify questions and leave stereotypes behind.
