Start-up Cup@H-BRS

The H-BRS Start-up Cup gives you the unique opportunity to convince our professional internal and external jury with an innovative idea and to win great prizes that will give your start-up project an initial boost. Six final teams have already been selected by the internal jury of the Start-up-Manufaktur and have the opportunity to pitch their start-up ideas to an external jury of experts. The three best-placed teams will receive prize money of up to 2,500 euros.

Further procedure of the Start-up Cup

Following the application phase of the Start-up Cup, the documents submitted by more than 20 applicants were examined and evaluated by our internal Start-up Manufaktur jury on the basis of predefined evaluation criteria in order to make a preliminary selection of the five most convincing business ideas.

After the jury's decision, six final teams have now been determined, due to the double occupation of the fifth place.

Now the final of the Start-up Cup is coming up, where the six final teams will pitch their business idea in front of a top-class jury. The final of the Start-up Cup will take place on September 30 at 5:00 p.m. as part of "R(h)einstarten", the first regional Start-up Summit of the H-BRS.

About the schedule and the program points of R(h)einstarten

The pitches will be followed by a short Q&A session. The founder teams will also be judged in the finals on the basis of defined evaluation criteria:

Evaluation Criteria

  • Overall impression of presentation: adherence to time constraints, presentation skills, creativity and ability to work in a team.
  • Answering questions/discussion

After a consultation break for the jury, the result of the three best pitches and the awarding of the prizes will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Want to be there for the pitches of the finalists and also for the announcement of the winning teams? Then register for the Start-up Summit "R(h)einstarten" and join us to follow the pitches live!
